Along its 30+ years of history, starting from bar codes used in libraries and in the retail market, the automatic identification industry has considerably evolved in terms of application domains and enabling technologies. Zetes’ customers can benefit from its rich experience and numerous achievements, above all with the  creation of Zetes’ Competence Centres, focused on specific business applications, introducing new technologies and supporting its country-based organisation.

Both in Goods and People ID, each of these specialised Competence Centres act as a centrifuge between centralised Zetes’ experience and know-how in specific domains. They provide country organisations with the global expertise inside the Group but also with best practices as well as with solution architecture frameworks allowing for rapid development and deployment of solutions. This while enabling countries to concentrate on customising these solutions according to the specific needs of each customer.
