Zetes’ 3i Voice solution for The Central Bottling Company Ltd (Coca-Cola Israel)

10/10/2007

The Central Bottling Company Ltd (Coca-Cola Israel) to increase customer service levels with Zetes’ 3i Voice solution

Brussels, Tel Aviv, 10 October 2007 –  Zetes (Euronext Brussels: ZTS), the leading pan-European systems integrator in automatic identification of goods and people, has announced the successful go-live in mid July of its Zetes 3i Voice Solution (3iV) in the new distribution center of the Central Bottling Company Ltd. (the exclusive franchiser for Coca-Cola in Israel).. CBC’s endorsement for collaboration was mainly based on the deployment of Zetes’ 3i Voice Solution, which allows direct connection of Vocollect voice-terminals to its SAP LE environment. The goal of the project is to increase accuracy, productivity and user-comfort in CBC’s distribution centers.

The Zetes 3i Voice Solution is a suite of value-adding components built on top of Vocollect’s market-leading  voice-technology and the Vocollect T5 platform. The Zetes 3iV Solution allows for easy and direct integration into ERP or WMS systems.

This new technology enables the workers in the distribution center to communicate directly with SAP in the most natural way: speaking and listening. Unlike in conventional methods, the hands and eyes of the worker are free, so that he can perform his task in an efficient, accurate and convenient way, in parallel he can receive instructions in a human voice and update SAP by talking to the system.

The project is rolled-out in CBC’s Sorek-based distribution center. Twenty employees are using simultaneously the Zetes 3iV Solution round the clock, order picking dairy products. CBC expects process accuracy, employee productivity, user comfort and customer service levels to improve significantly.

Danny Meskin, who is managing this complex project: “The Zetes Voice Solution proved itself in an extraordinary way and we must mention the service of Zetes, they really invested their soul into this project.”

“We are extremely proud that a company like CBC recognizes the added value of our experience and best-practice integration solutions. CBC’s motivation was inspired both in function of an elevation of customer service levels and employee comfort. The short-term return on investment of 3i Voice Solution demonstrated in over 20 different countries now, has impacted on CBC’s decision also”, says Eli Harel, Managing Director for Zetes Industries (Israel) Ltd.

Zetes’ 3i Voice Solution is spearheaded by the 3i Competence Centre, responsible for developing the standard, configurable components of the 3i Voice Solution and for supporting and distributing best practices and project skills into the European Zetes organisation.

The 3i Voice Solution is largely responsible for the success of Zetes Group in the European voice market.  With hundreds of projects in more than 20 countries, involving over 25.000 users and equipping them with thousands of Vocollect voice terminals in the 5 years since starting the Competence Centre, Zetes Group has become a widely experienced contender and a clear leader in the European voice market.  Amongst its customers are companies such as ACR Logistics, Corporate Express, DHL Solutions/Exel Logistics, Carrefour, Schlecker, Laurus, Spar Group, Coop, Danone, FM Logistic, Kruidvat/A.S. Watson, Metro, Netto, Système U, etc…
